So I’ll be honest – when I first rolled up to Teneriffe Executive Suites, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. Executive suites can go either way, you know? But this place actually surprised me in the best way possible. It’s tucked into Teneriffe, which if you don’t know Brisbane well, is this cool converted warehouse district right along the river. Think exposed brick, trendy cafes, and that perfect mix of industrial-chic that doesn’t feel try-hard.
The building itself has that solid, no-nonsense vibe – it’s not trying to be flashy, but everything feels deliberately chosen. When you walk in, there’s this immediate sense of space that you don’t get in most city hotels. The suites (and they really are proper suites, not just a room with a tiny sitting area) have these big windows that let in heaps of natural light, and honestly, the kitchen setup is better than what I have at home. I mean, you’ve got full-sized appliances, stone countertops, the works. It’s the kind of place where you could actually cook a proper meal instead of living off room service – though there’s some seriously good food within walking distance if you can’t be bothered.
What really sold me on this place was the location, though. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Teneriffe ferry terminal, which is clutch if you want to zip over to the city without dealing with traffic or parking drama. And speaking of parking – they’ve got secure underground spots, which in Brisbane is worth its weight in gold. The neighborhood itself is perfect for wandering around; you’ve got Gasworks Plaza right there with its weekend markets, plus all these little boutiques and galleries scattered through the old warehouse buildings. The river walk is honestly one of the best in Brisbane, especially early morning or at sunset when the light hits just right and you can see the Story Bridge in the distance. There’s something about being close to the water that makes the whole area feel more relaxed, less rushed than the CBD. Sure, it can get a bit busy on weekends when everyone descends on the markets, but during the week it’s got this lovely village-y feel that makes you forget you’re in a city of two million people.

What Our Guests Say
Exceptional
Exceptional Location to CBD. Great communication with Daisy.
Great location & apartment okay for a couple of nights. The location is perfect for Tenerife, Newstead and New Farm, F Valley is within walking distance and choices of lovely restaurants, cafes and bars very near. The City cat and bus stop are just around the corner. The building is fairly nice and feels safe - people were friendly.
What could be improved: The apartment was clean but tired we stayed for 10 nights and found the bed was too small for two people and the mattress bedding and towels were uncomfortable and very poor quality, two small thin towels were not sufficient especially as the washing machine was not working properly. If you need to stay more than a couple of nights I would recommend booking elsewhere.
Disappointing Location was good - easy walk to river, ferry, cafe and Woolworths. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Good parking provided.
What could be improved: Pillows were yellowed and dirty and weren’t replaced until 4 days into our stay. Internet didn’t work for first 4 days - when I messaged the property they just kept sending me the same password. Some of the cookware had food baked on to it.
very comfortable living space. close to everything I needed. would stay again. very familiar with the area. easy to access location from car park. quiet when the balcony door was closed.
What could be improved: due to the rain the balcony shared garden was full of water. someone had used it as an ash tray as there were many floating cigarette butts and trash in it. I had noticed that many of these were being replaced by the BC. a queen bed would have been great, but a double was ok for a single traveller, probably not ideal for a couple or tall person.
Very good Clean, easy to access, good communication with host.
What could be improved: check-in time was too late at 3:00 pm.
Exceptional
Superb What could be improved: I loved the apartment, but really wanted a doonah, l like weight on me while sleeping, 2 sheets wasn’t enough.
Exceptional
We like to walk so location near the river was great. Great location near Tenerife ferry terminal and good for river walls. Apartments was modern and well kept.
