Look, I've stayed in plenty of Brisbane places, but this spot on Wharf Street actually surprised me – and I mean that in the best way.
Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Brisbane places, but this spot on Wharf Street actually surprised me – and I mean that in the best way. When you pull up to Riverfront Luxe, you’re not dealing with some fancy hotel lobby situation. It’s more like arriving at a really nice apartment building, which honestly feels way more relaxed when you’ve got luggage and maybe grabbed one too many drinks on the flight in.
The whole riverfront thing isn’t just marketing speak here. I mean, you’re literally right there on the Hamilton stretch, and if you know Brisbane at all, you know this area has transformed completely over the past few years. The apartment itself is proper spacious – two bedrooms that actually fit real furniture, not those weird compact hotel beds that make you feel like you’re camping indoors. The pool situation is pretty sweet too, though I’d hit it early morning or later evening if you’re not into the whole family scene. Parking is included, which honestly saves you about $25-30 a night compared to most Brisbane accommodations, and you don’t have to circle the block like a vulture looking for street parking.
What really got me was how quiet it stays despite being so close to everything. You’re walking distance to Portside – great for groceries or if you want decent coffee without venturing into the city proper. The ferry terminal is right there too, so getting to South Bank or the CBD is actually easier than staying in some of the “centrally located” hotels that charge twice as much. The apartment has that lived-in feel without being worn down, you know? Kitchen’s fully equipped (I actually cooked breakfast a couple times, which I never do when traveling), and there’s enough space to spread out if you’re traveling with friends or family who need their own zones. Only minor gripe is the WiFi can get a bit patchy during peak hours, but that’s pretty standard for Brisbane apartment buildings. The whole vibe is sort of like staying at a friend’s place – if your friend happened to have really good taste and a killer view of the river.

What Our Guests Say
Very good What could be improved: No sunlight curtain blocks
Superb Loved the property.
What could be improved: The bed in the main bedroom should be a queen size at least not just a double bed. This lets the apartment down, given everything else was so lovely.
