Beautiful Brisbane CBD High Rise Apt at Queens Wharf
Beautiful Brisbane CBD High Rise Apt at Queens Wharf
Look, I've stayed in my fair share of Brisbane accommodations, and this high-rise apartment at Queens Wharf honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible.
Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Brisbane accommodations, and this high-rise apartment at Queens Wharf honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. When you first walk in, you’re hit with these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Brisbane River like some kind of living postcard. I mean, the view alone justifies the stay, but there’s actually substance behind the pretty facade.
The location is what really sets this place apart from your typical hotel room. You’re literally in the heart of the CBD action – I could walk to Eagle Street Pier for dinner in about three minutes, and the Queen Street Mall is close enough that I found myself popping over for coffee multiple times a day (probably too many times, honestly). What I didn’t expect was how quiet it stays up there despite being surrounded by the city buzz. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional CityCat horn from the river below, but it’s more charming than disruptive. The apartment itself feels properly lived-in rather than sterile – you know what I mean? There’s a full kitchen that actually has everything you need, not just a sad mini-fridge and a broken coffee maker. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings while watching the commuter ferries chug along the river, which became this unexpectedly peaceful routine.
The building’s amenities are solid without being flashy – there’s a decent gym and a pool area that gets gorgeous afternoon light. Parking was surprisingly straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven around Brisbane CBD will appreciate. I will say the elevators can be a bit slow during peak times, but that’s pretty standard for these older high-rises in the area. The real winner here is being right at Queens Wharf, especially if you time your visit right. The whole precinct has this energy that’s hard to describe – it’s touristy but not in an obnoxious way, and there’s always something happening along the riverfront. I spent way too much time just wandering around the area, grabbing drinks at different spots, people-watching from the various terraces. The apartment gives you this perfect home base to explore from, but honestly, the view and the space make it tempting to just stay put with a bottle of wine and watch the city light up at sunset.

What Our Guests Say
Unhappy Perfect position, close to all tourist attractions. Apartment was comfortable with amazing views
What could be improved: No information about use of washing machine, a/c or intercom system. Bus/train on how to get around, nearest supermarket. We stayed for 7 days only 1 tea towel, 2 well used thin bath towels, no toilet cleaner, microwave on top of the fridge (would be okay if your tall). Long walk to pick up key then had to return key, but shop shut. 🙁🙁
Exceptional Absolutely stunning view, great location
Superb Everything
What could be improved: The lighting in the bathroom and no full-length mirrors
