But here’s the thing – being in Portside means you’re in this weird sweet spot where you feel like you’re away from Brisbane’s chaos, but you can still get into the city center without much fuss. The free parking is clutch because, let’s be real, parking in Brisbane can be a nightmare and expensive as hell. I’ve stayed at places where you’re paying $30 a night just to park your car, so having that sorted is huge.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there, not like those sterile hotel rooms that smell like industrial cleaning products.
