Stunning River View 2-Bed with Pool, Sauna and Gym

You know what really gets me about this place? The name doesn’t oversell it – the river views actually are stunning, and I mean that in the best way possible. I’ve stayed in plenty of Brisbane CBD spots that promise water views and deliver you a sliver of brown river between two office buildings, but this apartment genuinely surprised me. The floor-to-ceiling windows in both bedrooms face the Brisbane River, and honestly, I spent way too much time just watching the CityCats ferry people back and forth while sipping my morning coffee.

The building itself sits right in that sweet spot of the CBD where you’re close enough to walk to Queen Street Mall in about ten minutes, but far enough from the weekend party chaos that you’ll actually sleep through the night. The pool area – and this is something I wish more listings mentioned – gets gorgeous afternoon sun around 3-4 PM, which is perfect timing if you’re dealing with jetlag or just want to unwind after exploring the city. The sauna’s compact but does the job, though I’d recommend going early morning or evening because it gets pretty busy around 6 PM when all the apartment residents finish work. The gym’s nothing fancy, but it has everything you need including some surprisingly good cardio equipment with river views (I mean, if you’re going to suffer on a treadmill, might as well have decent scenery, right?).

What I really appreciated were the little things that show someone actually thought about how people live in this space. The kitchen’s properly equipped – not just the bare minimum you usually get in short-term rentals – and there’s actual counter space to prep meals if you’re trying to save money or just tired of eating out. The air conditioning works brilliantly, which matters more than you’d think during Brisbane’s humid summers. Parking’s secure underground, which removes that whole CBD stress of circling blocks looking for a spot or feeding meters every two hours. The building’s got that solid, quiet feel you want when you’re trying to decompress, but the location means you’re still walking distance to everything that matters – the Botanic Gardens are literally across the river, South Bank’s a pleasant 15-minute walk, and you’ve got easy access to the ferry terminal if you want to explore suburbs like New Farm or Bulimba. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no awkward key handoffs or confusing instructions. At 8.5 out of 10, it’s rating about right – not perfect, but definitely delivers on what it promises without any nasty surprises.
