The street itself is pretty quiet at night, which surprised me because you’re still close enough to hear the city humming below. Parking’s not terrible either – there’s a spot out back, though I’d ask about it when you book because it fills up.

What I really appreciated was how the rooms feel like actual living spaces rather than hotel boxes. The kitchenette isn’t just for show – you’ve got a proper fridge, decent counter space, and cookware that doesn’t look like it’s been through a war. The couch actually seats two people comfortably (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s enough storage that you’re not living out of your suitcase the whole time. The bathroom’s a bit snug, but honestly, the water pressure’s better than half the flashier places I’ve stayed in Brisbane.
