First Impressions
Walking into Modern meets The Gabba, you immediately get why this four-star property has such a strong following among couples. The name pretty much tells you everything — it’s this sleek, contemporary space that happens to sit practically next door to Brisbane’s iconic Gabba cricket ground. I mean, you can literally hear the crowd roar during match days, which is either amazing or potentially disruptive depending on your perspective (though honestly, most guests seem to love the energy).
Location & Neighborhood
Kangaroo Point is one of those Brisbane neighborhoods that locals know is special but tourists often overlook. You’re perched on this elevated spot with killer views across the river to the city skyline, and the Story Bridge is right there — perfect for those early morning walks or evening runs along the boardwalk. What’s really handy is the CityCat ferry terminal just a few minutes away, which connects you to South Bank and the CBD without dealing with traffic. The area has this relaxed, residential vibe during the day, but it comes alive when there’s cricket or AFL at the Gabba.
The Room Experience
The room design lives up to that “modern” promise — clean lines, quality fixtures, and floor-to-ceiling windows that actually open (you’d be surprised how rare that is these days). The kitchenette setup works well if you’re staying more than a night or two, though honestly, with so many good cafes and restaurants within walking distance, I found myself cooking less than planned. The beds are genuinely comfortable, and the blackout curtains do their job well, which you’ll appreciate if you’re trying to sleep in after a late night exploring the city.
Practical Perks
Here’s something that’ll save you both money and hassle — they’ve got parking on-site, which in this part of Brisbane is worth its weight in gold. No circling blocks looking for street parking or paying ridiculous daily rates at nearby lots. The staff actually knows the area well too, so they can point you toward the best coffee (try Campos on Logan Road) or suggest which ferry to catch depending on where you’re headed. It’s these little touches that make the difference when you’re trying to navigate a city you don’t know well.
Why Guests Love It
What really sets this place apart is how it balances being close to everything without feeling like you’re stuck in the tourist bubble. You can walk to South Bank in about fifteen minutes, catch a game at the Gabba, or just sit on your balcony with a coffee and watch the city wake up across the river. The fact that couples consistently rate the location so highly tells you something — there’s enough going on to keep things interesting, but it’s peaceful enough that you can actually relax. Plus, that 9.0 location rating from recent guests isn’t just marketing fluff; this spot genuinely delivers on convenience without sacrificing character.
Brisbane’s apartments welcome families with resort pools, kids’ clubs, and easy ferry rides to the Lone Pine koalas.

What Our Guests Say
This place is very up to our expectation.
Location is very good, just besides to the stadium and close to the Kangaroo Point look out.
Room is clean and fresh, bathroom has washing machine and dryer easy to use. there is a big TV. We went to the pool and had dinner on the rooftop restaurant, very fabulous view.
We just followed the instruction in the message they sent to us and check-in and check-out are easy and clear.
A very good place to stay.
Everything was so easy from finding the key to finding our car space. The view of the Gabba was amazing. The place was very clean and spacious, and it was so comfortable. We celebrated my sister's birthday at the rooftop bar, which was quite nice. And when I came back to the apartment, the room felt so cosy that I fell asleep instantly. I honestly didn't want to leave. Having said that we did end up leaving early in the morning because we missed our dog. I would definitely stay here again.
Communication from the hosts was exceptional, clean, comfy beds and location to the Gabba was second to none.
Would highly recommend.
Clean and comfortable
It was a delightful experience - honestly a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and a vibrant local vibe. Swimming pool was wonderful especially during summer. Reasonable price. Staff was friendly, and everything was so well taken care of.
The location was very good
We are very pleasant with our stay in this apartment! Our favourite thing is the location. We are able to walk to The Gabba stadium in just a few minutes and don't need to be stuck in the traffic. The apartment is in a quite modern building and we feel quite safe and comfortable within the stay. The communication with the staff is another highlight, they very fast-response and solve things quickly! We were asking if we could have extra bathing utilities in late time, they delivered in 20 minutes. We were a little worried that there won't be enough basic stuffs as a previous review states, but apparently they have improved it and topped things up. The room is clean and cozy, the bathroom is quite fancy and new compared with some other hotels we stayed before. The room's condition is good, and can see CBD view from the balcony. The swimming pool is amazing and not too crowded. Love the Sunset Bar on rooftop as well! We had dinner there for both nights and it is so convenient. We will definitely come back for next time.
Location
The location is superb. The room itself was good and clean. It was quiet at night
The location was perfect for us attending an event at the Gabba. The bed was reasonably comfortable, the air conditioner was great and the fridge and microwave worked well. The apartment also had a washing machine and a dryer.
