Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of Brisbane apartments over the years, but this place on Queen Street honestly caught me off guard. You walk into this sleek lobby and think “okay, nice enough,” but then you hit the 37th floor and suddenly you’re looking out at the entire city sprawling toward the river. I mean, the view from the living room actually made me put down my phone for a minute – and that’s saying something.

The apartment itself is properly spacious, which is rare in the CBD. Two bedrooms that don’t feel like afterthoughts, and both bathrooms are genuinely nice – not just functional but actually pleasant to use. The kitchen’s got everything you need if you’re the type who likes to grab groceries from the Queen Street Mall Woolies (just a few blocks down) instead of eating out every meal. What really gets me though is that infinity pool on the roof. I’ve seen plenty of hotel pools that are more like oversized bathtubs, but this one’s the real deal. Go up around sunset if you can – the city lights start twinkling and you feel like you’re floating above everything. Just don’t expect to have it to yourself on weekends; word’s gotten out about this spot.

The location is honestly perfect if you know Brisbane at all. You’re right in the thick of things on Queen Street, which means you can walk to basically everything that matters – Eagle Street Pier when you want to feel fancy, the botanic gardens when you need some green space, or just wander down to the river for a morning run. The building’s got that solid, quiet feeling too, so you’re not hearing every taxi or late-night reveler, even though you’re right in the middle of it all. Parking’s in the building, which saves you the headache of street parking in the CBD (trust me on this one). The gym’s nothing spectacular but it’s got what you need, and the wifi actually works properly throughout the whole apartment – I was taking video calls from the bedroom without any issues. One small thing: check-in can be a bit slow if you arrive during peak times, but the staff know their stuff and they’re genuinely helpful once you get their attention. For what you’re paying, especially compared to some of the cookie-cutter hotels around here, you’re getting a proper apartment experience with those little luxuries that actually matter.
