It actually lives up to the name, even if the title is ridiculously long. This apartment sits right on Melbourne Street in South Brisbane, which means you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the South Bank Parklands and all that riverside action. No need for Ubers or figuring out the bus routes – just walk out the door and you’re there.
The apartment itself feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, which is exactly what you want when you’re traveling. It’s on the 10th floor, so you get decent city views without feeling like you’re trapped in a tourist bubble. The free parking is actually a massive deal here – anyone who’s tried to park around South Bank knows it’s either expensive or nonexistent. The building’s pretty quiet too, which surprised me given how close it is to everything. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise from Melbourne Street during the day, but it’s not the kind of thing that keeps you up at night. The apartment has that lived-in comfort that a lot of serviced places lack – proper kitchen setup, decent WiFi, and honestly, the bed was better than I expected for a 3-star spot.
Here’s the thing about the location that really sold me on it – you’re close enough to walk to the Gallery of Modern Art and the Queensland Museum, but you’re also just across the river from the CBD if you need to get into the city proper. The CityCat terminal at South Bank is maybe a 15-minute walk, and that ferry ride up the Brisbane River is actually one of the better ways to see the city anyway. Plus, there’s a Woolies about five minutes away if you want to grab groceries and actually use that kitchen. The 7.3 rating seems about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it does everything well without any major hiccups. The check-in process was smooth, the place was clean, and the whole experience just felt… easy, I guess? Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re exploring a new city and don’t want to deal with hotel nonsense.

Good Apartment was nice, good views. Secure parking, clean.
What could be improved: Like doing a scavenger hunt to get the keys which were not at the actual accomodation. Honestly if I’d know we had to go to a seperate location to a lockbox on a random fence I would have booked elsewhere. Three attempts at finding the correct carpark was frustrating. Some biking event was on morning of checkout which caused issues when exiting blding.

Great location Great location, loved the roof top pool area, comfortable nice apartment.
What could be improved: The room was so overly perfumed with air freshener it was overwhelming. We had to open it all to air it out.
Very good What could be improved: 2 x lights in the bathroom. One in the shower flashes and the one where the sink in flashes on and off like your at a disco. Only happens after the lights have been on for a couple of minutes.

Nice and comfortable however not worth the price point. The location was convenient, short walks to lots of shops and supermarkets. The place overall was nice but would be better for two people rather than four. The beds were very comfortable which is always nice. Room was clean and comfortable.
Collecting the keys is pretty easy, however others may not want to go on a scavenger hunt for them. Depends on the person!
If you are looking for a short stay, this would be a good option.
What could be improved: The wifi did not work which was a downside as most things require wifi today. Room too small for 4 people, much better for 2 people. Bathroom door lock was broken and the lights flickered badly.
It would be nice if information on accessing the private pool was provided and its hours. overall I cannot say it is worth the price.
