Cozy 2Br Apt near the Brisbane River
You know what struck me first about this place on Warren Street?
You know what struck me first about this place on Warren Street? It’s actually got that lived-in feel that makes you forget you’re in a rental. I mean, most Brisbane apartments near the river either cost a fortune or feel like sterile hotel rooms, but this 2-bedroom spot hits that sweet middle ground where you can actually spread out and breathe.
The location is honestly pretty clever – you’re close enough to the Brisbane River to take those morning walks everyone talks about, but far enough back that you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds or the tour groups that cluster around the more obvious spots. Warren Street itself is one of those quiet residential roads where you’ll hear kids playing in the afternoon and maybe some kookaburras in the mornings, but it’s not dead quiet either. There’s decent street parking most of the time (though weekends can get a bit tight), and I noticed the neighbors actually seem to know each other, which says something about the vibe of the area. The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a corporate rental – there are little touches like proper kitchen utensils that actually work, books on the shelves that look read, and furniture that’s comfortable rather than just photogenic.
What really won me over was how the space flows. The bedrooms are genuinely separate (not just divided by a curtain like some places), and the living area gets this nice afternoon light that makes the whole place feel bigger than it probably is. The kitchen’s small but functional – I mean, you’re not going to host a dinner party, but you can definitely cook proper meals if you want to save money or just stay in. Honestly, the 7.4 rating feels about right because it’s not trying to be something it’s not. There are little quirks – the shower pressure could be better, and the Wi-Fi occasionally drops if you’re in the back bedroom – but these are the kind of minor things you’d deal with at a friend’s place. The check-in was straightforward, though the key pickup instructions were a bit confusing at first. Brisbane’s weather can be unpredictable, and this place handles it well with decent air conditioning and windows that actually open for those perfect subtropical evenings. If you’re looking for something flashy or resort-style, this isn’t it, but if you want a genuine base to explore Brisbane without the tourist markup, it delivers exactly what it promises.

What Our Guests Say
Good
Very good
Superb
Cozy and clean, Amazing location, Responsive to our questions as well, and a free car park is provided as well. Love th Clean, beautiful, comfortable⦠feels like home!
What could be improved: All good. Maybe a dryer machine would be a good ideaπ
Poor What could be improved: It was a room where pest control had not been properly managed. Although I had planned to stay for four nights, I reluctantly stayed for one night and then checked out. I am currently requesting a refund for the remaining three nights.
As soon as I entered the room, there was a foul odor. Cockroaches were crawling on the bed, and a dead fly was on the pillow. There was a trail of ants beside the refrigerator, and more cockroaches came out from underneath it.
I couldnβt bear to stay in a room under such conditions, so I booked another room and checked out the next morning. The room wasnβt even properly cleaned, and being charged a cleaning fee feels like a joke.
