Charlotte Towers Brisbane & Resort Style Facilities
Charlotte Towers Brisbane & Resort Style Facilities
Look, I've stayed at my fair share of Brisbane hotels, and Charlotte Towers honestly surprised me in the best way possible.
Look, I’ve stayed at my fair share of Brisbane hotels, and Charlotte Towers honestly surprised me in the best way possible. Walking into the lobby, you get that immediate sense that someone actually thought about the design here – it’s not trying too hard to be fancy, but there’s this relaxed sophistication that just works. The location on Charlotte Street is actually perfect if you know Brisbane at all. You’re literally a two-minute walk from Queen Street Mall, which means you can grab everything from quick coffee to proper shopping without dealing with any of the tourist trap pricing you’d find right on the mall itself. I mean, you’re close enough to duck into David Jones or Myer when you need something, but far enough away that you’re not hearing the street performers at all hours.
What really got me was how they’ve nailed this whole “resort style facilities” thing without making it feel gimmicky. The pool area – and I’m picky about hotel pools – actually feels like somewhere you’d want to spend time, not just snap a quick Instagram photo. There’s proper seating, decent shade, and honestly the water temperature was spot on even when I was there in winter. The gym’s better equipped than most apartment complexes I’ve lived in, which is saying something. You know what though? It’s the little touches that made the difference. The check-in staff actually knew the area when I asked about getting to South Bank – they didn’t just hand me a generic map, they told me about the riverside walk and mentioned the CityCat times. Room service was quick without being pushy, and the housekeeping team managed to work around my weird schedule without making me feel like I was inconveniencing anyone.
The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid four-star place, but with some thoughtful upgrades. Decent shower pressure (seriously, why is this so hard for hotels to get right?), blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird – but the air conditioning was quiet enough that I could sleep with it running. Parking’s available if you’re driving, though honestly you won’t need your car much once you’re settled in. The only minor thing I’d mention is that weekend nights can get a bit lively since you’re in the CBD, but nothing excessive, and the windows do a good job keeping most of the noise out. If you’re someone who likes being in the thick of things but still wants to retreat to somewhere that feels a bit special, Charlotte Towers really hits that sweet spot between convenient and comfortable.

What Our Guests Say
Oaks Charlotte Towers Apartment was a good size, all amenities, great for 7 day stay. Location perfect in centre of Brisbane cbd midway and 2 mins to main attractions - mall, southbank, casino, riverside
What could be improved: No parking spot with this room however lots of parking lots within cbd..for overnight parking if you have a rental you'll need to find a good, clean parking lot - used one on Margaret st which had cheap weekend overnight rate, but not weekday overnight rates..can be expensive.
