The whole CBD is compact enough that you can walk to most places, but if you’re heading to South Bank or the airport, the transit connections are solid. Parking can be a bit of a pain if you’re driving (welcome to Brisbane CBD), but honestly, you probably won’t need a car anyway. The building itself is pretty quiet – I was expecting more street noise being so central, but Margaret Street doesn’t get the heavy traffic that some of the main drags do.
