The Garden City shopping center is maybe 10 minutes away, and that’s where you’ll find your proper restaurants and entertainment if the local stuff isn’t cutting it. The whole setup works especially well if you’re in town for business or visiting family in the southern suburbs – you’re positioned perfectly without paying those inner-city accommodation prices. It’s not going to win any design awards, and the 7.2 rating feels about right (solid but not spectacular), but sometimes you just want a place that does what it says on the tin. The value for money here is actually pretty decent, especially during peak seasons when everywhere else is gouging you.
