The apartments themselves are proper serviced units, not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re tripping over your suitcase. I stayed in a one-bedroom that had this full kitchen setup (the kind where you can actually cook, not just reheat leftovers), and the living area was spacious enough that I didn’t feel like I was camping in someone’s closet. The building’s got that modern Australian apartment vibe – clean lines, lots of natural light, and they’ve clearly put thought into the layout. What I really appreciated was how quiet it was at night. You get the occasional car down Cordelia Street, but nothing like the constant hum you’d get if you were right on Grey Street or near the motorway.

Walk ten minutes toward the river and you’re at QPAC or the Gallery of Modern Art – perfect if you’re here for a show or just want to wander along South Bank. The nearest train station is South Brisbane, maybe a seven-minute walk, and from there you can get to the CBD in literally two stops. Parking was straightforward too – they’ve got secure underground spots, which honestly saved me from the usual Brisbane parking headache. The staff were pretty switched on during check-in, gave me the rundown on the local area without being pushy about it. I think the 4.5-star rating is about right – it’s not luxury level with concierge service and marble everything, but it’s well-maintained, comfortable, and actually feels like a proper home base rather than just a place to crash. If you’re planning to spend time exploring both the city and the cultural stuff, this spot gives you the best of both worlds without the premium you’d pay for a hotel right on South Bank.
