The motel sits right where you can actually see the Brisbane River (hence the name), and while it’s not exactly waterfront luxury, there’s something genuinely peaceful about watching the water from your room window, especially in the early morning when the joggers and dog walkers start their routine along the riverbank.

For a 3-star place with a 7.6 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d hope for – clean, comfortable, affordable, and run by people who actually care about their guests’ experience. It’s not going to wow you with fancy amenities, but if you want a solid base for exploring Brisbane without paying CBD prices, this little motel does the job really well.
