The building itself has this modern apartment vibe rather than typical hotel stuffiness, and honestly, that works better for longer stays.

The suites are what really sold me though. I mean, you get an actual kitchen – not just a mini fridge and microwave situation, but proper stovetop, full-size fridge, the works. After eating out for three days straight, being able to duck into the Coles at nearby Stones Corner and cook something simple was a game-changer. The living area’s got this open layout that doesn’t feel cramped like most hotel rooms, and the bedroom’s separate enough that you can actually spread out. Air conditioning works great too, which you’ll definitely need during Brisbane summers. One thing that caught me off guard was how quiet it gets at night – despite being close to the stadium and Logan Road, once you’re inside with the windows closed, it’s surprisingly peaceful.

What I really appreciated was how it sits right between the city and the southern suburbs. You’re close enough to South Bank that you can walk there in about fifteen minutes (though it’s a bit of a trek back uphill), but you’re also right near some of those great Vietnamese places on Logan Road that most tourists never find. The staff seemed to actually know the area well too – they pointed me toward Burrow Bar, which became my go-to spot for a decent coffee and wasn’t just the usual chain recommendation. Parking’s included, which honestly saves you a fortune compared to city hotels, and check-in was smooth – no weird upselling or making you wait around. The 8.3 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it nails the things that actually matter when you’re staying somewhere for more than just crashing after sightseeing. If you’re doing business around the PA Hospital area or just want somewhere that feels more like a temporary home than a hotel room, this place hits the sweet spot between comfort and not breaking the bank.
