You know what caught me off guard about this place?
You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I stepped onto that rooftop pool area, I actually forgot I was in Milton for a second. There’s something about being up there with the Brisbane skyline stretching out that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled onto something special – not exactly what you’d expect from a McDougall Street address, honestly. The apartment itself is one of those rare finds where “2BR” doesn’t mean you’re squeezing into a shoebox. I mean, the living area actually has space to spread out, and the kitchen’s got proper counter space (you’d be surprised how many Brisbane rentals skimp on that).
What really works here is the location situation – and I don’t mean that in the generic “convenient location” way every listing claims. You’re literally a five-minute walk from the Milton train station, which means you can be in the city center in under ten minutes without dealing with parking nightmares or traffic along Coronation Drive. The street itself is surprisingly quiet for being so close to everything, though you’ll hear the occasional train rumble if you’re on the balcony – but honestly, it’s more of a gentle reminder that civilization exists than anything disruptive. The building has that solid feel to it, none of that flimsy construction you get in some newer developments around here. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, no waiting around in lobbies or dealing with overly complicated key card systems.
Here’s the thing about Milton that most people don’t realize until they’re actually staying here – you’re positioned perfectly between Park Road’s cafe scene and the river walks without being stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. I found myself grabbing coffee at the little spots along Railway Terrace in the mornings, then coming back to take advantage of that rooftop pool in the afternoons when the Brisbane heat really kicks in. The pool area never felt crowded during my stay, probably because most people don’t expect much from apartment building pools, but this one’s actually worth using. The whole setup feels more like a boutique hotel than a standard rental, which explains that solid 8.3 rating – it’s high enough to mean they’re doing something right, but not so perfect that you wonder what they’re hiding. If you’re looking for somewhere that gives you proper space to settle in while keeping Brisbane’s best bits within easy reach, this place delivers without any of the usual apartment rental headaches.

What Our Guests Say
Read the important information, deposit is required. There was very few redeeming features of the apartment unforetunately
What could be improved: I checked the mobile app thoroughly especially about requirements of stay. The requirement tab showed ID and credit card on arrival, thats fine. The policies tab stated nothing unusual or disagreeable. However after I had booked and paid in full(320 aud) they sent me a link to pay for a 500 dollar deposit that i was completely unaware of and had never agreed to. Not only did I not aggree I certainly did not agree to do so on a third party website/service that I have no knowledge of or trust. I contacted them immediately to resolve the issue. They made it very clear that this was a requirement of stay and they would not back down or change that policy in anyway, I thought no problem I literally just booked it and asked if they would be so kind as to return my money and cancel the booking, at this stage the booking had only been made for less than an hour. They said I could cancel but "based on the policy" I would not be ebtitled to a fefund. Regardless of whether they COULD keep my money or not I think 99% of people would agree that it is unethical to do so given the little amount of time that had passed and based on the fact that it was not clear there was a deposit requirement. So as I could not afford to lose 320 for nothing I kept the booking but already this experience had soured me to the stay. I was meant to be in town for a couple of days enjoying an old friends wedding and the whole time instead of preparing for it or enjoying it I was constantly having to try and organise, reorganise, make payments, and fight on the phone with the customer service who spoke like I was a toddler and they werr a robot.
When we did finally manage to use thier third party system as the office was not open on weekends to pay the deposit directly and they did not accept my indonesian cards.
Exceptional
location is the key Everything we needed was within walking distance and a short walk to the train station. Suncorp stadium was a quick 10 min walk and also seen from the apartment. Unit was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Definately on our list for a future visit.
Property is comfortable Check in was tricky but otherwise our stay was great

Gorgeous place, so so clean and worth every penny☺️ This property is absolutely gorgeous and maintained to a very high standard! It instantly feels like home, very warm and cosy. So easy to located and check in/check out. All shower amenities were included which was very convenient. The top floor has a stunning pool, bbq and outdoor cinema area with loads of space for sunbathing. Thankyou for letting us stay! We will definitely see you soon☺️
