Look, I'll be honest - when I first pulled up to this place on High Street, I wasn't expecting much from the outside.
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this place on High Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. It’s tucked into one of those modern apartment buildings that Brisbane seems to be sprouting everywhere these days. But you know what? Sometimes the best spots are the ones that don’t need to scream about it from the street.
The Cassa folks have actually nailed something here that a lot of serviced apartments miss – they’ve made it feel like a proper home rather than some sterile corporate crash pad. The one-bedroom setup is smartly laid out (none of that cramped nonsense where you’re bumping into furniture), and honestly, the kitchen is better equipped than my actual apartment. I mean, there’s even decent coffee gear, which – if you know Brisbane’s coffee scene – you’ll appreciate not having to hunt down your morning fix immediately. The bed’s comfortable enough that I actually overslept twice, and the air conditioning works properly, which is crucial during those sticky Brisbane summers when the humidity makes you feel like you’re living in a sauna.
What really sold me on this place though is the location situation. Toowong gets overlooked by tourists who think they need to be right in the CBD, but that’s actually perfect for you. You’re literally a two-minute walk to the train station – I timed it because I’m obsessive like that – so getting into the city takes maybe ten minutes. But here’s the thing everyone misses: you’re also right next to some of Brisbane’s best suburban eating spots that locals actually go to, not just tourist traps. There’s this Vietnamese place around the corner that does pho that’ll ruin you for anywhere else, and the IGA is close enough that you can grab groceries without it being a whole expedition. The parking situation is sorted too, which anyone who’s tried to park in Brisbane will tell you is worth its weight in gold. Sure, the traffic on High Street can get a bit noisy during peak hours, but close the windows and you’re fine – it’s not like you’re sleeping on the M3 or anything. The management is pretty responsive too; when I had a minor issue with the WiFi, they actually fixed it the same day instead of giving me the runaround. It’s that kind of attention to detail that makes the difference between a decent stay and actually wanting to come back.

fantastic location to shopping centres, university, public transport and a short trip by car, bus or train to city.
Location was perfect for me. Directly across the road from a shopping center with a choice of supermarkets. And plenty of cafes, takeaways and restaurants if I didn’t feel like cooking. Choice of train, bus or ferry all within easy walking distance.
Apartment itself had just about everything I needed for a week long stay.
No breakfast, location was excellent.
Excellent location - close to amenities & transport links.

Provision of a washer/dryer was essential for our length of stay.
-The location was very convenient. Two of us were attending for different reasons, I had a hospital stay at the Wesley and my partner was in Brisbane for work.
-It was close enough to The Wesley (10 minute walk) but across the road from toowong shopping centre.
-Admittedly the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets.
-The apartment was really well laid out.
