I mean, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury touches, but the two bedrooms are genuinely spacious (not those cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture), and the kitchen is functional enough that you could actually cook a proper meal if you wanted to. The 7.6 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place that does the basics really well without trying to be fancy about it. What I appreciated most was how quiet it stays, even though you’re close to the South Bank area. The walls seem decent, and I didn’t hear much from neighboring units, which honestly can make or break a stay.

Location-wise, this is where it gets interesting. You’re walking distance to South Bank Parklands, which locals will tell you is way better than the touristy parts of the city for an evening stroll. The cultural precinct is right there too – QPAC, the art galleries, all that stuff. But here’s what I really loved: you can walk to West End in about fifteen minutes, and that’s where you’ll find the good coffee shops and restaurants that aren’t charging tourist prices. The bus connections are solid too, particularly if you need to get to the airport or other parts of Brisbane. Parking can be a bit of a thing in this area – worth checking with them about options if you’re driving. During weekends, especially when there are events at the convention center or South Bank, the area gets busier, but it’s more lively than annoying. The building itself feels well-maintained, and check-in was straightforward – no drama, which is always a relief when you’re tired from traveling.
